Jomsom Trek
Jomsom Muktinath trek is one of the most popular pilgrimage treks in the Annapurna Region . The diverse landscapes and cultures can be explored along the trail and experienced the lifestyle of rural Nepalese people. The trek follows the ancient trading route from India to Tibet up the Kali Gandaki valley starting from the roadhead near Pokhara and finishing at the pilgrimage site of Muktinath where one can observe the activities of many devout Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims including ascetics; who have visited as far as from India and different parts of Nepal. This trek gives insight of the Tibet-like country north of Jomsom. Their customs and dress are all quite distinct. This trek gives many spectacular views of the two Himalayan mountains specially Annapurna , Dhaulagiri . This is one of the lower elevation treks that we offer rising to only 3800 m. This is a good trek if you wish to avoid high altitudes.
